The Great Lakes are one of the most important
resources in Canada. The lakes span more than
1,200 km along the provincial borders of Manitoba,
Ontario, Quebec and parts of the northeast United
States. The Urbanization of the Great Lakes pamphlet
is designed to advocate the importance of the Great
Lakes and show society the negative effects our
industrial exploits have had and continue to have on
this diverse and essential ecosystem. Using information
graphics this pamphlet demonstrates the importance
of making sustainable changes to reverse the
devastating effects of the abuses the lakes have
endured over the years. One side of the pamphlet
has facts about the Great Lakes and the other is a
poster outlining the circle of life for Great Lakes
inhabitants including plants, animals and humans.
